BOSTON – The following local students have made the Dean’s List at the Wentworth Institute of Technology for the spring semester 2021.

AMHERST – Below is a list of local students who have been named to the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Dean’s List for the 2021 Spring Semester. To be eligible, an undergraduate student must receive a grade point average cumulative of 3.5 or better on a four-point scale.

LOWELL – Local residents have been named to University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Dean’s List. Some of those recognized for earning an academic distinction for the spring semester 2021 at UMass Lowell include:
■ Crista Jillson d’Athol, specializing in applied biomedical sciences
■ Jake Wright from Athol, specialized in biology
■ Eryn Mahoney Witts of Orange, majoring in music studies
■ Charlotte Torres-Zelaya of Orange, specializing in nursing
■ Jason Leonard from Petersham, specialized in information technology
■ John Richardson from Petersham, specializing in mechanical engineering
■ Frank Parillo de Phillipston, specialist in criminal justice
■ Jelena Humphries from Warwick, specializing in political science
MONTCLAIR, NJ – Athol’s Becca Sauer has been named to Montclair State University’s Spring 2021 Dean’s List. Sauer is a major in theater.
Sauer was one of nearly 6,000 students named to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List. To qualify, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
CLINTON, NY – Hugo Frost, of New Salem, has been named to Hamilton College’s Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester.
Frost, a rising senior specializing in German studies and world politics, graduated from Mahar Regional High School.
EAST HARTFORD, Connecticut – Chelsia Torchia has earned a spot on Goodwin University’s Spring 2021 Dean’s List. Torchia, a student from New Salem, is one of 1,014 students on the Dean’s List, reserved for those who demonstrate excellent academic performance.
WORCESTER – Clark University awarded 490 bachelor’s degrees, 501 master’s degrees and 10 doctorates, and conferred three honorary degrees at the University’s 117th launch ceremony. Among the graduates were:
■ Taylor Duerring Loubris, of Erving, obtained a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Environmental Science and Policy.
■ Kaitlynn Elizabeth Chase, of Phillipston, graduated with an MA in English.
■ Tobey Rose Chase, of Royalston, obtained a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy.
