Bournemouth to rival Premier League side in ambitious pursuit of transfer of £ 15million man
Bournemouth are keen to sign Kelechi Nwakali, despite facing Premier League competition to clinch the midfielder.
The 23-year-old Nigerian is currently under contract with Huesca, who has just been relegated from La Liga, but spent most of the previous campaign on second division loan with Alcorcon.
His performances for this period have clearly drawn attention, with The Telegraph revealing that Nwakali is on the Cherries’ radar, as Scott Parkers look to strengthen the squad following his appointment.
However, a deal for the attacking midfielder will not be easy as the update indicates Huesca are determined to hold on to around £ 15million for talent.
Additionally, they also state that Watford has shown an interest in Nwakali and the appeal of top-level football could give the theme an edge if it is both clubs.
If Nwakali makes a move on either side, it won’t be his first experience of life in England as he spent a few years with Arsenal in his youth.

It would be a signing declaration for Bournemouth if they could do so as they would have seen a Premier League club and paid a large sum for Nwakali if he had signed.
Obviously, this is an area of the pitch that Parker needs to strengthen and fans will be encouraged if he is to be seriously supported in the market.
Whether Nwakali is worth such a fee is up for debate as it remains to be proven at the highest level but support will need to trust the Scouts and the leadership during this crucial summer time.
