A bucolic New Hampshire bike trail is one of America’s most rewarding rail trails, according to the the Wall Street newspaper.

The post just named six incredible rail bike trips, calling them the most rewarding routes from California to New Hampshire, and included the Northern Rail Trail. The nearly 100 mile route from Lebanon to Boscawen, New Hampshire, runs along the former Boston & Maine Railroad.
“With a predominantly flat or gentle slope, these six railroads in particular are inviting, offering opportunities to drop a fishing line, spy on diving herons, or stop along the way in pretty little towns.” , the the Wall Street newspaper wrote. Best of all, each of these bike paths presents the kind of scenery worth slowing down.
