A BOURNEMOUTH-based pizzeria is opening a pop-up beachfront bar and restaurant on Eastcliff Beach this weekend.
El Murrino restaurant on Old Christchurch Road will open a new pop-up dining experience on the Eastcliff stretch of Bournemouth promenade on Saturday.
The company, which opened in 2011, jumped on the pop-up bar and restaurant initiative launched earlier this year by the BCP board.

The new beach pop-up features two VIP areas, including an upper deck above the container.
A family affair, the team didn’t start working on the boutique’s family dining experience until last Wednesday and hope to be open on Saturday after their hygiene inspection.
An exciting addition to our beautiful stretch of coastline, the pop-up restaurant will serve food and drink to walk-in guests and you can also book for a more ‘VIP’ experience.
The ‘VIP’ seats are separated from the main bay by 50 tables and there is even an upper deck above the large turquoise containers that offers stunning views of the bay.
Having only received the space last Tuesday, event planner in El Murrino, Catherine El Murr said: “It was logistically crazy to prepare the pop-up and as a family business, the whole world helped and we good team.
“We are delighted to welcome everyone to our relaxed beach restaurant and can’t wait for summer, just hope the weather continues to hold up.”
The independent restaurant will offer a varied menu to suit all tastes with dishes such as pizzas, salads, burgers, fish and chips and more.

They are allowed to serve food and drink, so customers will need to have a meal when they visit the pop-up.
Their restaurant on Old Christchurch Road has a laid-back vibe, which Catherine says will suit their new chilled waterfront location.
If all goes according to plan, the pop-up on El Murrino beach will open from Saturday and diners will be able to visit seven days a week between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.
The restaurant will be open all summer until September 24.
Reservation will not be essential and tables will operate on a first come, first served basis, but if you wish to reserve for this weekend you can call 01202 022333.
